Fantastic little breakfast place. Don’t be fooled by the parking lot or the outside. It’s like stepping through the door to Narnia. You’d never guess the inside was so cool. Really neat upstairs seating when they have the staff to run it. The food was fantastic. I had a side of biscuits and gravy, a little heavy on the pepper for me, but they were still great. The Peanut Butter French Toast was really good if you like trying new stuff. The bacon slices were nice and thick and tasted great. Black coffee was excellent. Dad had the pancake and side of eggs, said they were great as well and prices were not bad at all. Would definitely eat here again.

It is a nice little cafe place with GORGEOUS artwork hanging on the walls! The name may be Backwoods Cafe, but they certainly aren't nearly as back woods as some other places are, the owner is 1 of the people who actually does work and wait on people. I'm not used to the owner being someone who actually works at the place they own anymore, and I also wasn't used to the fact that when I got my chicken burger, it wasn't as crispy as I would have liked it, and when I happen to have mentioned about it, when I was leaving, she said that I actually could have had it taken back and gotten it more crispy than it was. I'm not used to such wonderful service like that, so that was very surprising and interesting, I would gladly love to go back anytime!!!

Best breakfast! This place really hits the spot in every way. Super nice friendly staff. Delicious food. Clean and cozy atmosphere. I was in town to speak at a conference when the bartender at my hotel recommended I come here for breakfast. So glad I made the stop. This will be a regular place for me next time I'm in Yakima. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.

And great spot hands down!!! Fast and friendly service. My coffee was never empty. We got to pick the table we sat at. As it was slow. But was clean and everything was Organized really well. The food came out spot on top 5 Eggs, Benedict I have had in a very long time!! Portion sizes was perfect. Got full enough that I felt my eyes were going to pop out. And still had some to take home for a midnight snack. Will definitely be back there sooner than later!!!
